Gustavo Martins, the son of Carlos Martins, was submitted on Thursday afternoon to a bone marrow transplant that was successful, said the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Lisbon.

For Carlos Martins it will be quite irrelevant now that he had to pull out of the preparation for the EURO due to an injury.
Beautiful that the bone marrow donation campaign of the Portuguese national team (see here and here) was a big success. Not only for little Gustavo but also for much more people in need of a transplant.

Yes, that’s right. The first game for Portugal is vs. Germany.
So I don’t know if Cristiano said “Holland” by mistake or if AS made a typo.
