CrisKa jumping for joy.
Both had a happy football night, but not in the same team any more. Sigh.

CrisKa will live on forever.
A Tribute to CrisKa
Kaká, my amazing and beautiful #1 poster boy, has transferred to AC Milan. Although my heart is so happy that he is returning to a club that is welcoming him back with potential for more play and an adoring fanbase, I have to admit I am even more sad to see the end of the CrisKa Bromance! Oh how I love their bromance. What girl doesn’t love a good bromance? It makes us flip flop between wanting to get with one of them, wanting them to get with each other and wanting to get with both of them.
Their bromantic appreciation for eachother will hopefully still continue but in less direct and apparent ways. They might involve say an occasional tweet to eachother, a mention in an interview or a handshake during an international friendly, perhaps a basket of cookies will get sent to Kaká and a basket of hair gel to Ronaldo. For us fangirls we will be watching for these occurrences and then obsessing at them like crazy mothers at a toddler pageant. Sadly we say goodbye to moments like this:
And this and this and this:
And this and this and this and this and this:
And all of these:
Ugh. Now I’m going to go pout in my corner like a mother whose 4 year old didn’t win Little Miss Ultimate Grand Supreme Princess Sparkly Buttercup Unicorn Baby. There is no hope for me to be sandwiched between them in one giant Madridista love hug. I will obviously still support Kaká at AC Milan and I hope to see him excel there. With Cristiano by his side when he also transfers to AC Milan. Just kidding. But not really. A little. Ok not at all. Mmmm…nope, not kidding.
I’m stll not emotionally ready to post all the CrisKa memories I already have prepared … too bittersweet.
Kaká vs Cristiano Ronaldo - INTERVIEW 2009, shortly after both were signed to Real Madrid.
Bittersweet to watch this adorable double-interview, where both are full of high hopes, joking, flirting, being cute.
Cristiano and Kaká were presented in July 2009 as the new star duo of Real Madrid.
And now, 4 years later, Cristiano is the big star at Real Madrid and Kaká returned to AC Milan where he is dearly loved.
That’s life …
So from now on this blog will be a Cristiano AND Kaká blog - no more CrisKa. Or at least only in memories. And hopefully Champions League and national team matches. Ambivalent feelings because Kaká is happy now and Cristiano appears a bit lost, now that Kaká and Mesut are gone.
Kaká and Cristiano in these days …
Q:Bale is not as great as they do see, because of him having time Ozil Madrid went and also by a not too distant future CR7 could go. I find it illogical that I cost about the same as CR7 if Bale has not gained nothing definitely is very overrated. On the other hand I am very happy that Kaka it out of Madrid there never knew trying not given deserved what they love in Milan will return to shine and then in Madrid will miss him ... I'm glad he and Christian will always be friends! What do you think?
I think Bale is already very good and has much potential to become a great player. But 90-100 mio. € is ridiculous. Seems like Perez wanted him literally at all costs. Even when this is disrespectful to Cristiano.
Now I see 2 options:
- Bale and Cristiano will get along fine and play together well.
One on the left side, one on the right, destroying everything and scoring millions of goals :o)
- Cristiano is hurt with all the Bale-hype and therefore unable to cope with Bale, so they can’t deliver great performances together.
Knowing a bit about Cristiano, I believe that 1. will happen. Cristiano is hot-blooded, but has a big heart and is an exemplary professional.
What can create problems is that everybody now expects wonders from Bale. Hopefully he can bear the pressure and just give his best.
I’m sad that Kaká left but I can fully understand him. His focus is on the World Cup next year in his home country. And for being called up by Scolari he needs to play regularly.
Seems like AC Milan gave him a sort of guarantee for that. And he missed the affection of the fans. At AC Milan they adore him.
I can imagine that this warmth will encourage Kaká to feel secure and show his abilities.
And for sure Cristiano and Kaká will always be friends. They were before they both came to Real Madrid and will be now that Kaká went to Milan. But what a pity that from now on there are very few occasions where we can see them together.
I just realised that in 1 week, on September 10th at 22:00 CET, there is a friendly match Brazil vs. Portugal in Boston
But no chance for a CrisKa reunion, as Kaká is not in the squad :o(
Q:criska were so close that it was ONLY cristiano who came to drop him off at the airport, not even marcelo so im sure they'll keep in contact even after being in separate countries (like a long distance relationship) :P
Of course they will. They were friends before they both joined Real Madrid and will be after Kaká left.
